Unhappy Battery Light

I have a 2006 X-type jaguar and my battery light comes on intermittently. But, when it come on the voltage drops to (about) 12.33 volts. I replace the alternator and still having the problem. This one has me confused, because sometime it comes on and sometimes it doesn't. I also replaced the battery due to the constant drop in voltage. Are there any suggestion?

Battery cables? From what I've read (and experienced in other cars) bad grounds / dirty connections can cause this sort of thing ...

Default Battery Light

I checked the cables to ensure that the ground was tight. I was told that if there was a loose ground that the positive cable would be hot when the problem started. Checked it again when I replaced the battery, sorry, I should have mentioned that in the initial post.
