Lightbulb Best Tires for X-Type??

Hi there, I am new to this site, and may ask some extremely noovice questions, so bear with me please.

I drive my 2002 X-Type to work and out on the town. It is being custom repainted right now (original color, Jag Green), and some new chrome hardware being replaced. I am putting the money into this car with decent mileage (60,000 roughly) to have it look terrific, the way it should.

I am not doing anything fancy to it, as some here are getting fancy tires, rims etc.

I am choosing between 2 average types of tires. I am either going to get Cooper all weather with 60,000 mi. tread warranty, or Yokohama of similar stature/price. 205/55/16.

I am also getting some after-markety rims, as hte previous owner put some really neat dark grey expensive rims on it, but curbed them a few times, and I think one is bent causing a bit of a shake at high speeds. (Have had current tires high-speed balanced, had steering system checke,d and thank GOD it is not that!)

Anyhoo, if you could tell me whether Yokohama or Cooper tires would be better, please let me know. Thanks!
