How much is she worth
So i have a blck 2002 2.5l jaguar x type. Limo tinted windows, and 20% on the front two suide windows, tinted side markers, recent oil change. Winter and summer tires included. k and N filter is the only mod under the hood. Runs perfect.
I payed 12 grand canadain for it, and thats with out all the mentioned stuff above. Don't worry im not going to sell her, i just want to get a rough idea how much its worth. Its only got 84 000km on it.

Disco, the best places to look to get an idea of what your car is worth is to look at either kbb.com or edmunds.com. Both of them have a section where you can input in all the specs of your car and it will spit back a few numbers for you. The big thing to keep in mind with these sites is they assume the car is in perfect condition. In your case, because of having the second set of tires, you can probably add about $400 (CDN) for those. But, that will be your most accurate idea of what you can get for the car/relative price. You can also look in the paper for used car places that are selling X-types. NOt a lot of advertising going on, but after seeing 2-3 cars, you can get a feel for what they are getting.

From the KBB.ORG website -
I did a look-up in my zip code (87112), and, assuming the car is in perfect condition (perfect paint, etc), the private party value is $7800 (US), which would be about $8205 Canadian. Retail store price would be higher (about $9300 US, or $9800 Canadian). Take the amount of money you actually spent on the tint, and divide it by 1/2. Then add that to the value of the car (at least that's how it is down here). If the extra set of tires have less than 5000 miles on them, then you can add 3/4 of the cost of those. If they have more than 10,000 miles on them, then only add half the cost of them. That should give you an idea of what your car is worth on average. Now then...what it is worth to you, worth to some passerby thinking of buying "a car," and a person wanting a Jag that looks like yours are three different things. IF you were to sell it, you might only get 80% of the above total if you sold it to that passer-by. If a Jag enthusiast (or someone who wants to have the Jag prestige) wants to buy it, they may pay as much as 120% of the above total. One never knows. I suggest you take it to an appraiser if it's that important to you.
Canada
You can obtain a report from a region in the U.S. that borders your own, but remember vehicles built for the Canadian market do differ from their U.S. counterparts in both the engines and optional equipment choices. You must also do a little math to convert the U.S. dollar values to your own country's currency.
If you would like an idea of the value of a vehicle in U.S. dollars in a nearby region, enter the ZIP code closest to your province.
Alberta --- Shelby, MT 59474
Atlantic Provinces --- Bangor, ME 04401
British Columbia --- Bellingham, WA 98226
Manitoba --- Fargo, ND 58102
Ontario --- Detroit, MI 48202
Saskatchewan --- Glasgow, MT 52930

I agree with Chris, those mods you have done are not going to bring you much, if any increased value to a private buyer unless they are looking to continue to trick out the car. An after market stereo/navigation could add a little more value, but nothing too substantial.
A couple months ago when I was shopping for my used X-type, a 2002 2.5 with that mileage (about the same that I was looking for) was going anywhere from $6-8K US Dollars in the Northeast US. Sounds about on par with Kelley Blue Book values.

lol, well i was reading this how to know if ur car is a colectable or not, on msn. And according to it, the vehicle must have something limited about it, for instance the vdp x types are considered collectables in that thought, the r/ vdp stypes and the same for other cars, regular jags don't make the cut, but i understand that some people do have the dread jaguaritislol
