Default Bluetooth Pairing Problems

Hi all,

I have a recently bought 2006 X-Type and I was following instructions on pairing the bluetooth system to my phone. Problem is that whenever I press the "telephone" button on the central console i get a message "NO PHONE" and the "SIG" signal which the manual says never appears.

I have a non-touch screen system.

Can you help?!!

Are you sure you have the phone option in your car? Usually when you see "No Phone" that means you do not. All the cars have the phone icon button, but few actually have that option actually installed.

Default Bluetooth

I agree with the above, the phone button aside, what makes you think you have Bluetooth?

Do you the module in the boot, the microphone by the roof light?

Welcome to the forum xtypemalta,

Bluetooth was such an expensive option that very few Jaguars were fitted with it in 2006. Your Jaguar Dealer will be able to tell you whether it was factory fitted or not by looking up your vehicle build specification on the Direct Dealer Warranty system.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see.

In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Graham
