Just wondering if there is an aftermarket turbo/supercharger kit for the 3.0 x-type. thanks to all for your responces.

I've never seen one, why boost a 3.0 ? You'd need to uprate brakes, cooling etc... never even mind the AWD is fragile enough as it is. Just get an STR, built for the job! All thing considered, likely to be cheaper as well.

Aahh, they say it can't be done! I would like to try and see how it might go. I over boosted my pontiac gtp,and grand national.
Put a paxton on a 5.0 mustang. Ya never know, It would be a fun project.

We'd love to see it happen, but I'm left wondering if nitrous wouldn't be easier and cheaper. I'd never say it can't be done, just it hasn't been done - yet! I'm sure you could find a turbo specialist who'd help out, I'm just not sure the drivetrain would be up for the extra power, and no-one's done it to tell us. If you do it - we can't wait to see it.
