borla exhaust

RE: borla exhaust
At idle they sound stock, but once moving they have the deep thumping sound, and when you punch it, very noticeable, but not like the rice burners...almost sound like a V-8.
Inside the car there is deep yet mellow sound that lets you know they are not stock...make sense?

RE: borla exhaust
Maybe I'll give them a try...
But what about these 2 ideas...
How about a glasspack in place of the front muffler? (Without replacing rear mufflers, yet). Would this add a stock sporty rumbling sound?
And what are the chances of fitting one of Borla's Z06 or Cobra 'Stinger' muffler systems? These could possibly be the most rumbling impressive mufflers Ive ever heard... Of course, they arent sophisticated at all, theyre earth shattering rumbling, but I wonder if its feasible to pull it off...
But more interested in thoughts on glasspack for quiet rumble... ??

He's right you know ohnoe.........why do half a job, and not be too please with the end results anyway? You know you'll probably only end up doing it properly later having wasted all the money you spent doing it half right the first time............if you know what I mean...........rofl

RE: borla exhaust
I may try Borla's "S-type" muffler as a replacement for the front muffler, and the x-type borla system for the back...
I either want quiet like stock or all-out loud.
Hav eyou guys considered replacing the front muffler? It seems like it would open up the car a lot more...
