I hear ya....it's like they have a problem with their ride and post a question to their problem here, we can't help due to their inability to post in the correct board due to them not reading correctly and we try to to help help them by guiding them to the right board and ocassionaly toss in a sly comment. Then they take their frustration out on us, well namely me, but hey i don't get upset....so like what's the deal here....

i think from now on we need to inspect our new members by asking them a few simple questions prior to them posting a question...

Well paint me yellow and smack my *** why don't ya....
Sorry bro...mine don't have that....I got the cats which mearge into one pipe till up near the rear diff where it splits off into two pipes and two mufflers.....what year is yours?

I suppose if you do it your way you will get the sound you seem to looking for...The biggest problem with the X ehaust is the cats, they have that 90 degree bend at the bottom, a real blockage...fix that and you can free up about 20 extra ponies...but i honestly think you should just buy the real borla's, you'll be happy with the sound and it won't sound trashy....I mean loud..lol

Whatever way you decide to do it, post some pics and let us know..

When I say 'front muffler' im referring to the small round cylinder thing under the car that jaguar specifically calls a front muffler...
Its behind the cats, obviously, and just after that pipe that combines the two cat exits. That little round thing there is a muffler, and if you put a borla in there or a straight pipe, it would open up the car a lot more, in combination with aftermarket mufflers in the rear of the car.
And to be honest.. The high compression that our cars already have, combined with the V6, I think replacing this front muffler and the rears could result in quite a loud growling car...
Racer.............please help ohnoe out.........lol........Please
He'll be able to help you ohnoe.........He's quite knowledgable on mufflers
Hope u get an answer that helps!
