Help, I was just told that my brake booster is bad and needs to be replaced... can this be replaced easily, I have replaced master cylinders on American cars but not on my Jaguar X-Type...It is very hard to brake with and I'm afraid this might completely fail.

nascardad, if you can do the brake booster on other vehicles, then you can do it on the X-Type. Get a new booster and put it in. It is pretty much the same sequence of actions as if you were doing a Ford Focus or similar Ford vehicle.
