Hello all,

I just got some new pads and rotors (for all 4 wheels) from eBay and noticed the two sets of pads are not the same size. The biggest pads also have some sort of metal clips at each end. I haven't even opened the boxes with the rotors but there are two boxes and one is bigger than the other, so I assume that like the pads there is a set of rotors bigger than the other. Is this normal? If so, which set is for front wheels and which set is for back wheels?

I provided my car model and VIN when I ordered the brakes so I assume they are correct but I just want to make sure because I'm bringing them to a generic mechanic and not my Jaguar dealership.

 

The big ones are on the front.
It's really not a hard job. I did mine myself. First time I ever did rotors. I read a bunch of posts on here and the job took a morning. I did clean and paint the calipers. Mine were a little rusty and look great now.
