hey guys...i currently have a jaguar xtype 2004 3.0 bla bla...and i was wondering whats the headlight code is it H1?? and if yes well i was thinking of putting blue shaded bulbs ( not xenons ) just bulbs painted blue cos i dnt really have the money at the moment to change the whole setting...what do you guys think about the canadian tire bulb ?

how much are the bulbs? the hid upgrade will cost you like $70 and well worth every penny!

 

I would leave them alone until you get the HIDs. The blue coloured bulb will diminish your visibility 100 fold.

WHERE IS THIS HID UPGRADE OF 70 DOLLARS THAT YOU SPEAK OF? MY CONCERN IS THIS... THE DAYTIME LIGHT, IT IS ACTUALLY A HALOGEN BULB.. ITS IN THE HIGH BEAM HOUSING. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE BULB TYPE? I WANT TO REPLACE IT TO SOMETHING FAVORABLE, WHAT ARE SOME GOOD SET UPS?

here is the deal.... if you go to ebay and search for a seller with name of "mydepots" you will see he has hid conversion kits for about $70-75. Most of us here have used them and they are good! As for the day time running lights, it is a 394 bulb (i think and if not someone will correct me quickly) you can go to v-leds.com and order a LED in bright white. It just plugs right in and matches the 6000k and 8000k HID's perfectly. A poll was placed and I agree that the 6000k color for the headlights is the way to go. If you need help with any of this or don't understand what i am talking about please PM me and I will help as much as i can. I just changed all my lights a month or so ago and i don't know how you would have anything else in this car!

do u have to remove the frnt bumper to replace the bulb??

 

Hey everyone need some advice.
My headlight finally went out which gives me a reason to change it and get the new led look.I know nothing about cars except my jag can be a pain at times. what is the exact cost and light set tell me what I need to get to have that new led light look do I just change the bulb?
