Default Which Bulb?

How can i tell which kind of replacement Headlight bulb i need for my 2002?
i searched online and came up with 2 options:

HID
Standard

Big difference in price obviously!

most likly standard. do you have HID headlights? The one's that are bright as hell, have leveling motors in the housings and look white white white? if not then the standard are what you need.

Ok. Changed out the bulb. (Wish i had smaller hands)
Still doesn't work. The driver side works just fine still.

Can't be a fuse since the other side works.
What else could it be?

since one side works and the other side does not then you would think it can't be a fuse.... but in the X-Type there is a fuse for each headlight. I learned this the hard way. Do you have a owners guide? The fuse box is under the hood on the drivers side (USA). I bet it is the fuse...

no i don't have the owners guide. Anyway of knowing which fuse is which in there?

if not fuse
its more then likely the conector that attaches to the headlite bulb is O/C, terminals burned
remove conector from bulb and check it for power and ground
if this is the fault which most likely it is you"ll have to replace the conector
jag dealer sells the repair conectors there will be 2 of them
one power the other ground

right hand light fuse F1.
Left side light F4

The fuse box is under the hood on the drivers side. let us know if that is it.
