Yes sir I saw that. But how to you pull the clip back on after you replace the bulb?

Anyhow, does anyone think there's enough room in there to change the bulb? On the driver's side I had to loosen and relocate the fuse box. Now on the passenger side The ABS unit is like 3cm behind the bulb cover!

I got the clips loosened. Like I say above, I have no idea yet how I'm going to get the outboard clip back on... I just can't seem to get the cover to come out of there.

One does do these bulbs from inside, rather than taking the front lens off right?

Thanks very much for your replies.

If all else fails, get someone with small hands to reach it. I never have a problem removing mine. It takes about 5 minutes and never had to loosen or relocate anything.

I did not see the answer to my question here or just did not recognize it. 2004 X-Type. Is there a trick beyond brute force to removing the H1 bulb from its socket? I am afraid of breaking the socket if I attempt to pry the bulb out. Really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks all

I just replaced bulbs in my front fog light. They were the original bulb and were really stuck in the sockets. I just used a small screw driver and worked the old bulbs back and forth until I was finally able to pull them pull them free. I would imagine this method will work for all of the H1's.
