Sorry about the short post. My phone screwed up and posted it for some reason. Anyways my a/c hasn't worked since I got the car. The compressor does kick on. I tried to charge it myself but it still wouldnt get very cold an the low side was running like 120 psi which is too high. So I went and get the freon recovered and a vacuum pulled on the system. No leaks. New freon was put in and it still wont cool down. Now before the freon was recovered it was a little cools but you had to be above 2k rpm. And it only blew out the passenger side cold. When the freon was recovered and put back it I was told and watched that the compressor was acting weak because I was told the compressor was not pulling the freon down and causing the freon not to circulate properly. My x-type is a 3.0 with 117k. I'm just wanting to make sure it's the compressor I need.
