Can I temporarily use water insted of antifreeze in my 2.5? I have to replace my water pump (leaking around pulley shaft) but I can't do it right away.

You can, but one of the primary reasons for an ethylene glycol and water mixture (50/50) is to raise the boiling point of the liquid in the engine from 212 degrees F for plain water to 265 degrees F for a 50/50 anti-freeze solution.

Personally, I wouldn't take the chance.

Me neither, unless it was a get home measure.

Your water pump is only going to get worse, and there is a risk of it failing all together, not only leaving you stranded but also risking engine damage.

PS, it helps if you state the model of your car, X Type I would think?
