CAN & SCP troubleshoot
Hi,
Story in few point :
* i reflashed the TCM , car was driving fine
* i had still MIL warning , and SDD 131.03 was pointing me to configure PowerTrain Module, which i did ( with my lack of knowledge of SDD , i know ... my mistake...)
* it asked to some ABS/DSC fuse during the configuration ( many people think its strange ...) , configuration was doing fine for 15 min
* Then CAN network went down and aborted process
After many learning and change of setup ( SDD 131.03 => 131.00, new power supply with low ripple), i am at this point :
SDD pointing me to %H ECM, %H EDCM, H% IPC, which is related to SCP network, and the 4 DTC are CAN related ( U1900 , B2202, U2523-87, U2520-87)
I'm not using SDD anymore , just troubleshotting physical layer of CAN and SCP, and i have really strange results :
..............SCP- ........GND........ BAT
SCP+ .....OL ...........OL ........SHORT
SCP- ...................180ohm .......OL : 180 ohm without ignition, with ignition the value change from 0 to 250 ohm , in diode mode of my DMM, i have intermittent beep , look like a alternative current ...
GND .........................................OL
..............CAN- .... GND ..... BAT
CAN+....113ohm ....OL.... OL/SHORT
CAN-.............. OL/SHORT OL/SHORT
GND .............................OL/SHORT
With all that sh*** , it look like its a burn or crush, I should be able to see damage easily somewhere
i new to this, i think i need to continue to remove all plastic parts to check every portion of different wiring harness, also i'm scared to trigger any airbag system ...
I try to find info in workshop manual for the different step to check harness but i dont see any.
Anyone would have some advices ? also some location prone to overvoltage etc... like i heard wiper is one ...
Any help would be welcomed
Thanks guys,
Anton

I was diagnosing non-working CAN-connected parts on Jeep(bought it dirt cheap), it turned out, pass. door window switch was bad (run by CAN wire). Diagnosing CAN problem was kind of easy, it was supposed to have 1.5V, but it had 7v, so I started disconnecting parts until voltage went back to normal 1.5v

Yeah but i think x type dont manage door with can bus
I feel i do have problem , electric wise, from door lock
Im removing all plastic parts to look for burn or crush, i let dmm on ground/scp- ( some short went away) which show me 120 ohm, the value change (up to 300 ohm) each time i open/close door or remove/put one white connector close to fuse box under steering wheel
Now i cannot lock car i have the double beep ..
