Can somebody diagnose this problem?
I just finished a 2.5 hour drive on the interstate. I had to slow down at one point and it sounded like a jet engine slowing down. It is a low whine noise from the front of the car. At slower speeds when I got into town it felt like the car was moving a little slow. More whine the faster you go. I checked the front rotors and they were burning hot while the backs were cold. Is this sticking calipers? And what can I do to fix this?

when you say the fronts were hot had you just used the brakes?
Where the front wheels hot or just the brakes?
How did you know thay were so hot?
The brakes get hot under normal braking any way. I normaly find if a caliper is sticking the heat will transfer to the wheels also. and some times there will be a smell of burning brakes.

Good questions, it's not the tires and I hope it isn't the x case. And I stuck my finger on each of the rotors soon after I used them yes. The two fronts were burning and the rears were cold to the touch. The car doesn't drift to a stop now. It seems like something is slowing it down

If they were you would have had a very nasty burn.
Is it an auto or manual?

It is in the shop now. Ended up being a bad axle and seals that are being replaced for around 400 bucks. He isn't sure if that will fix it completely. The transfer case may be the culprit but I'm not messing with that

While it's in the shop have them change the T-Case fluid!
Check other threads here for instructions on how to do it. Any shop should be able to handle the job pretty easily (as long as they follow the approach as described).
