cant move shifter

2005 x-type

ran perfect

wife washed the car
“it wont start”

pulling back slightly on shifter it will start/ but shifter won’t move

e brake light /abs light and engine light on / electronic parking brake?
gearbox fault on cluster
disconnected battery, 10 min no help

fear water in ecm connection from washing
or other connecter?

I tricked the car got the interlock to come off and drove it around the block
In limp home mode but when returned home put it back in park the brake light came on and shifter would not move again….. help

i had to loose a ground / batt light on then tac drops off every light on in the dash / trans brake system falt has to be a secondary ground for this many problems

can bus failure

from what i read i think it is a can bus failure, due to water intrusion need help on where it runs and connecter locations /// have others run into this?
