Car Stereo

Good Evening, I went to afternoon service today and i played a cd while i was on the long trip. Every time i press the brakes it will lower the sound on the stereo and when i accelerate it will turn resume to normal. If anybody knows anything about this please explain this situation to me.
Mine does that too. It drives me nuts.I think its a feature that is supposed to compensate for the engine noise when youre accelerating. I hate it. Maybe the techs can tell me if Im right and if theres a way to turn it off.
i forget the button you hold as well. it is called AVC i think.... i like having it on. the volume changes at 30mph, 60mph, 90mph, and i think every 30 or so after that (don't know for sure, never went over a 100) i like it because i know how fast i am going with out looking at the speedo. Yup, i get that lazy. lol
