Default CCM monitor won't set to ready

Hi I'm having a problem with my car. I have a 2002 jaguar x type I just got it out the shop because it needed a new catalytic converter. I drove it 50 miles and all of my monitors are set except the comprehensive components monitor. I have no check engine light on. I drove the car like 200 miles and completed many drive cycles but can't get the ccm to set to ready. I need to get my car smog and I can only have the evap monitor not ready here in California. Can somebody please help me out.

The X-Type doesn't have a SPECIFIC CCM drive cycle. Use this document and complete the various individual drive cycles and you should end up with the CCM flagged as complete. Why it's different?.......... I have no idea.

Cheers,

I have tried this drive cycle many times and it still says CCM not ready. I've done it every morning before my 30 mile drive to work.

So what drive cycle are you completing?? If you read page three you will see it states there is no single Comprehensive Component Monitor Drive Cycle for the X400.

My suggestion was to complete the other four or five various drive cycles and see if you don't end up with the CCM flagged complete. [EGR Monitor is not applicable]

So this morning I got p1111 on my way to work. I started the car and let it idle in park for 5 mins with the AC and rear defroster on. Then I used the j gate to get the rpm to 4000 twice once before the high way and once entering the highway. Then I cruised at70 for 15 miles then I hit sports mode and cruise at 65 15 more miles and when I got to work I checked the codes and the p1111 was there. Thank you for your help.

I'm going through the same problem and have tried the deso procedure with no success. I am praying that your method works.

I tried your method just a few hours ago. Didn't work for me. But glad your CCM is complete. Gotta try something different I guess.

I just tried this a few hours ago and unfortunately it did not work for me.

Glad it worked for you though.
