My son has bought a Jag x type, 2004 plate and everything seems to work except for the cd player. The car came without a changer so this week I got one which was 'tested and working' - I loaded a couple of cd's into it and put it into the unit but there seems to be no joy when I press the cd function on the radio unit. Can anyone help me please

 

If no CD changer was fitted from the factory you will likely need to configure it to the radio head unit. There are two network cables needed for the boot mounted units, fibre optic and electrical.
