Radio canot lock in a station.

Radio canot lock in a station.
Radio canot lock in a station. It keeps searching and searching for a station signal. All I hear is static. Also the CD player does not work. The radio reads: no CD. And the antenna has trouble going down. Usually stops about 3/4 of the way down. Are these related problems? Any advice or suggestions on any of these problems would be most appreciated. What good is a convertible without tunes?

For your issue, it sounds like something disconnected on the CD unit. Whether it be by a connector itself or a cold solder joint let go or your internal neoprene line broke and thus the mast won't go back down. In either case, we need to know the type of stereo you have. Is it the base model, Alpine w/amp...

Hi Roarr,
Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.
As has already been mentioned, we really have to know the year and model of your car in order to provide accurate replies. Once you let us know, I'll move this thread to the correct forum.
Also, as Highhorse mentioned, please visit the https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-intro-must-5/ and post a required introduction so we can learn something about you and your Jaguar and give you a proper welcome.
Cheers,
Don
