Question CD Player wiring

Ok I have an 2004 Estate and only have the CD player in the radio up front, I can just get a rear unit with the multi CD unit and install it with existing wiring?.

Is the wiring in the car already from the factory for the unit or would I have to wire it?

I believe it is their but want to check so I can get it and put it in.

Thanks

All sedans I have seen have the wiring in the trunk. If the head unit has a "CDC" button below the CD slot, it should be pre-wired. An option I know to be not always pre-wired is the parking sensor system, I tried to buy a set and install it but couldn't find the wiring under the carpet in the trunk.

Yes, the wagon is pre-wired for the cd changer but you must get the "link lead" fibre optic cable to connect the changer to the existing fibre optic harness. In addition you have to have the head unit recognize the cd changer through the car's computer - any Jaguar dealer can do this
