Default Change in transmission behavior after fluid change

Recently drained the automatic transmission fluid and re-filled with RedLine D4. Now the shifts feel harsher and the shift points are way different than before. Anyone else run into a similar problem after a fluid change?

Might help a lot if you mentioned what procedure you used to drain, flush and refill the tranny.

Followed the recommended sequence including driving the car to heat up the transmission fluid, flushed it once, checked the fluid temperature at the last refill. There seem to be changes in the rpm shift points and what feels like a bit of "hunting" between gears, No noises or clunking.. Too much or too little fluid in the transmission?.

I only asked because the X Type has a procedure that has worked for some of us, and has been painstakingly developed by a number of members. I am one who used it and got great results. Others who have tried different methods have had problems. Dell Galley is one member who posted his process on here, and I followed his method, with only a few alterations to the tools utilised. I think the process is outlined in the thread:

Gearbox fault, amber light, and a burnt smell

It is worth a read, and sounds a considerably different process to that used by yourself. Dell will (no doubt) be able to assist.

I thought I had followed the process Dell posted, but I might have messed up somehow. I'll drain and refill it again paying more careful attention to the steps in the process and see if it makes a difference. Thanks to all.
