This does not need programming and I have actually had this exact same thing happen to me before. What is happening is that the motor in your actuator is being overpowered by increased resistance within the cable that is going from the actuator to the inside door handle. To fix this, simply remove the door panel, and then lube the inside of the cable which should have red ends on it. The important thing to do now, is make sure that if your whole car is locked or unlocked that you manually toggle the passenger door to match the other doors otherwise you will burn out the motor inside of the actuator and you will need to buy a new one rather than just lubing up your old one. If you have any questions, just let me know

I have never had a problem with using a junkyard actuator before, but if you are using a whole different door, I may be wrong as I see there is another member who is also having similar issues with replacing a whole door assembly. Try pulling the ground off of your battery to allow the car to "relearn" that it has a new door, or try reprogramming your keyfob to see if that works.

+1

You may have to do a 'hard reset'. After removing the negative battery cable, short it to the positive terminal for about 30 seconds. This discharges all capacitors clears memory.
