Exclamation Changing out radiator

Can somone tell me if changing out the radiator is difficut or should I have it done for me. I own a 2003 X-Type and live in Phoenix AZ. United States

It seems to have a hole in it near the electrical cooling fans.

Thank you in advance for your responses !!

Nascar, changing it out isn't too hard. The big thing will be getting the bottom cover off so you can get at both the top and bottom of the radiator. I seem to also recall that you are going to find it easier to drop some of the components out the bottom vice out the top. So, getting the front end of the car up in the air an additional 18" or so will be extremely helpful.

There is a recent post about another member changing out his radiator and he has some info on manufacturers and whatnot that you can use and not be stuck with having to get the factory parts.

nascardad88,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum.

Please post model-specific questions here.
