Default Changing tires for winter

My x currently has 225-50-16’s and would like to use a set of tires that I already have that was used last year during winter that was on my other car which is a 2011 Lancer. The tires I want to use are 205-60-16. Which are all 4 studded. Anyone think the jag may have a problem with the tire size difference even tho all 4 will be of the same size ?

I think you'll have problems with the (+3.2%) increase in diameter and circumstance.
In the U.S. You can call a Discount Tire center and on their computer they can input any tire size for any vehicle and tell you if you'll have clearance (rubbing on bumps, turning, etc.) problems.

You think Dell. 24.9 to 25.7 is less than a inch so that’s really 1/2 inch all the way around

Yeah, I understand that. I still believe you'll have issues with rubbing but, as suggested call a Discount Tire place and have them input the car and tire into their computer program. I did this a bit ago when changing all 4 (17") tires and ended up just going standard. I was trying to get a bit taller and wider fit.
