Default RE: Charge me up!

battery relocation kit just arrived this morning and job is complete. Gone is my spare tire and in the wheel well sits my batterybox and battery. Looks factory with the carpet in place.... you can't tell.

Gains: Battery is away from heat in engine (longer life), weight is distrubited to the rear (better balance) and i have a nice flow of cool air flowing into engine.....

Loss: spare tire, but i replaced it with the Mercedes kit (air compressor and tire patch kit) If they can do it so can i....weight saved aprrox 34lbs

Any inputs from you all??

Input? Personally, I dont see any big gain from moving my battery from the front to the back. But thats just me...
