Default Check Engine Light/ Cruise not available.. again

A few months ago I was having issues with my 02 X Type 3.0, where when i started it in the morning, the Check Engine Light/ Cruise not available would come on, and the car would buck when I wasnt giving it gas. But it would only do this for a few miles and then it would be good. After some searching on here, I read that it may be the pcv hose. I brought it to my local mechanic, who said that sure enough, the hose was broken. I bought a new one and replaced it. Its been months and has been fine. All of a sudden two days ago we had a really cold day, and Im having the same problems. Any suggestions before I bring it back?

Hi Sean, have you checked/replaced the IMT O rings?

I had that same problem awhile ago, and from what I could figure out my problem came from driving on a road that they were getting ready to re-blacktop. The cruise was out and the light came on. I was told by Thermo, that the rings around the rotor where the wire that reads the speed sensor was either cracked or dirty. Luckly mine were just dirty, I pulled each wheel and with a little WD40 spray and a rag, I got in there and cleaned everything up and I've been good to go since. Have you had a lot of rain or driving in bad weather where everthing may have caused some rust? I hope this information has helpped some or has giving you another idea or way to look at the problem.
