Default Chrome headlight trims??

Afternoon all, I was just looking at these chrome headlight covers on eBay and they are cheaper from the 2002 to 2007 range. Are the 2002 and 2001 the same shape?? Mine is a Jaguar X type 51 plate 3 L thank you

The 2001 and 2002 are identical.

I believe the inexpensive ones are plastic self adhesive, and the other more expensive types are metal. Would like to install some but don't want plastic unless they are perfect

It does look that way, most seem to be plastic like you said. I’m going to post some links below and let me know what the people in this thread think? Thanks

Subtle yet tasteful addition, really makes the nose look complete, especially with a mesh grill.

I suggest adding the rears as well; BIG difference!

I've always really liked the rear ones, adding to that baby xj look, still not so sure about the front ones..
