Default Cleaning Interior

Just got my 2004 X-Type and will be giving the interior a cleaning from the top down. The leather looks quite dirty so I picked up some Lexol cleaner and conditioner (I hope its a good choice, gets good reviews) and I was wondering what is leather and what isn't?
I was going to go by stitching patterns and was interested if I was on thr right track. Also, what do people recommend to clean any vinyl?
Will post pictures when done.
Thanks

sigh...here we go again (we just had a long thread on this)....the entire seating surface (seat bottom and backrest) is leather on both the front and rear seats; The headrest main surfaces are also leather but the side surface of the headrest is vinyl; the seat sides and the back side are vinyl. The rest of the interior is first quality vinyl.
Lexol is an excellent conditioner for modern Jaguar leather; apply it liberally, use a soft toothbrush to work it into the grain. Allow it to penetrate for as long as possible - overnight is best. The surface will then be very sticky - that is mostly dirt brought to the surface. Apply a little more Lexol on a clean cloth and buff. You can use the Lexol on all the vinyl surfaces as well (door armrests, centre console armrest etc.).

Sorry, if you could point me to the long thread, I would appreciate it.

You can read the long thread if you want, but there is a lot of opinion there and very little fact.
What I told you about the leather vs. vinyl is fact, not opinion (and that is the result of the long thread). But, speaking of fact, the fact that you have asked which parts are vinyl and which are leather is a good indicator of the quality of the vinyl Jaguar uses!
In any case, Lexol can be used on both - but it is the seating surface of the seats (leather!) which needs the most attention.

+1 on working the cleaner into the leather with a soft toothbrush or nailbrush perhaps, it really helps to draw out the dirt and grime.

The treat with your conditioner to follow
