Default Climatic Control

Has anybody experienced this before.
Start the car the temperature read correctly & then a few minutes the temperature reading drop to 39 degrees F. Hence triggering a message Low Outside Temperature. It doesn't do anything bad except that its annoying.

Do I have a bad Climatic Control Unit? I saw a few at ebay, but want to hear from the forum first.

The actual temperature was in the mid 50's. The thing is it only happened in the morning and haven't in the afternoon.
