Default clock spring, removal and reinstallation proccedure.

Hello everyone, I have had some issues with my daughters 2004 x-type related to the steering wheel controls and horn not working, I read that the problem could be caused by a failing clock spring.
so I happened to have a 2003 xtype that i bought for parts. I've been trying to figure out how to remove it and I've got as far as removing the steering wheel, but i cannot figure out the rest of the proccedure.
does anybody have a write up on how to remove and reinstall a clock spring?
thanks in advance
thanks in advance
