...or you can just google them: Write "Jaguar" followed buy the code you want to know more about.
I had a look at your codes and it is nothing I am familiar with (can bus).
Also know, that the explanation for the code might not be what is actually wrong.
Maybe you just forgot to reconnect an electrical connector, which you removed before...

Both the P1638 and P1699 are pointing to CAN bus errors that can either be open circuit wires or shorted wires.
CAN bus is a two wire system that links the various electronic modules together and in these cars they are the wires that are solid yellow and solid green in colour.
P1699 specifically mentions a CAN bus comms failure between the ECM (engine control module) and the CCM (Climate control module).
However those two modules are not directly linked as the CAN bus wiring happens to route via the TCM (transmission control module) first. - Assuming you are an auto not manual car.

So you are looking for the yellow and green wires that go between these modules and check them for continuity of each wire to make sure you don't have a rat chewed or chaffed wire somewhere. The wire could be open circuit or shorted to another wire or chassis.
The TCM modules can also get some water intrusion if the cabin filter air intake gets flooded by blocked drain holes under the windscreen cowl. You may have noticed at some point damp carpet in the footwell that might confirm you have had a cowl overflow.
This water rises enough to enter the cabin filter, drops down from the heater assembly onto the loom and wicks its way to the TCM on the A pillar, causing some corrosion inside that can create various issues. Usually can be opened and corrosion growth cleaned off the socket internal legs and sealed, just depends on how much damage has been done to any tracks or components if the moisture migrated deeper into the TCM.

You haven't stated what year your car was made, so there are several versions of schematics depending on year of production, which you can download the relevant year version from jagrepair.com and refer to that will help you identify correct plug and pin assignments for the wires you are looking for.

Good luck.
