Default Coilover shocks

Does anyone know if they make coilovers for the X-Type? If so, where can I get them? If not, what is my best suspension option?

there is a coilover kit, google it. i forgot the name of the manufacturer, but they are about 1200 + installation. I have only upgraded shocks, stock springs. The shocks I have stiffened the car ALOT. VERY dramatic and Very noticeable handling upgrade as well, for less that half the price of coilovers. Plus i live in the city and there are tons of potholes and jacked up driveways/offramps, so a lowered car isnt practical here.

Are you asking for adjustable coil-overs? Just ouf of curiosity, why are you interested in them? Do you track your X?

You can try and contact these guys: http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/index.php

BTW, H&R and Eibach both make lowering springs for the X. It's all a matter of finding good struts to work with them.

Try KW Suspension, they make a coilover kit for the X. It will run around $1700 though.

Coil-overs are beneficial if some like, lets say, a woman drives the car as well. I would keep them high when she drives, and I'd lower it on the days I'd want to show it off, when I would drive. Also, if you move from one place to another, coilovers allow for you to adjust your ride height in accordance to the quality of the streets where you live.

Thanks Gotti! That's exactly what I'm looking for. Now I just need to find an online dealer who will come of the $1550 price tag a little. Although, not a bad price for coilovers.

A good set of Koni yellows and an Eibach Pro kit has always been my setup of choice. the Koni's are adjustable and the Pro kit has the perfect stance for me. I've gotten away with that setup on 4 cars so far.

he hurt me man.....sorry...But very few people on here come up with aftermarket shocks on their jag. Alot of people drop them, but dont change the shocks, thats a bad idea. I had KYBs/eibach springson my nissan and they werent as smooth as my jag is with the bilstein HDs. And i have less body roll then in my former Z. High quality shocks. YELLOW isnt that bad, they arent even visible

I couldnt find any X-Type products on the Tein website either.

Looks like I'm going to order some KW's in the next couple of days.
