Default Coolant Flush

Was just wondering where the drain release is for the coolant. I've pointed out where the coolant goes, but I want to be sure I'm not removing something else when I'm looking for the drain point to flush out the old anti-freeze/coolant.

Thanks a lot.

This could help identify the drain plug.......

Fezz, look under the front of the car on the passenger side of the car. You will see a small hole with the slotted fitting shown in the above picture. Just a warning though, if you leave the plastic plate in, the fluid will sometimes run all over the place and can make it challenging to collect all the fluid.

Am I going to have to remove the plastic cover underneath held by a million screws first?

Fezz, you do not need to remove it just to drain out some coolant. BUt, be ready with 2 or 3 pans to start collecting coolant. May be advisable to put a jack under the driver's side of the car and lift that side up say 3 inches or so to make the passenger side of the car lower than the driver's side. That way, if any coolant hits the tray, it will run to a specific corner and will make collecting the coolant easier.
