I found this x-type interior by J nothelle and I thought it was the coolest and cleanest!! I don't agree too much with the orange decision but it still looks great!!

Go to Jaguar UK (Not the US site)and see what we have been missing!!! Look At the RED and CARBON Interior you can get in the 2008 X-Type sport model 5 speed manual, right side drive in England. Sick!! This will be my new car when I figure out how to get it here. The stuff they sell in Europe is so much better than the Government regulated crap they sell in the US. We are no longer the freest country so sad??

i saw an x type with interior from the factory with orange seats and door panel inserts weird colour...
that red looks pretty cool..

 

Can you tell me what an intake really does. Is it hard to install and also how much did teh magnaflow exhaust cost you. Is it loud or its perfect.

The XP intake is OK? I am not sure how much it helped? Sometimes the check engien lite comes on and the Rev limiter kicks in at 3000 RPM it can be overcome by crusing in third for a minute or two. I have been Trying to figure out what I need to do and I think the ECU remaping is needed? I think I may get nitros? I talked to one performance person and they said out of everything just do that call it good for power? You might try and replace your front grill with a mesh one, that real opens up the air, and a new cat back exhaust helps too.

 

I couldn't imagine putting nos in a jag no matter how safe it is or who is properly installing the nos...you couldn't get me to do it! Not with our weak drivetrain that I keep getting reminded of! Did you try contacting xp about the problem with the check engine they stated on their site it wasn't I thought?

 

If we could beef up the transfer case, then I wouldn't be afraid of nitrous. The manual tranny is strong, but the transfer case is definately a weak link as I doubt it can handle much more than the 231 HP in the 3.0L. Even in bursts of power, I'm not so sure it could handle it over time.

With the 2.5L, maybe a 50 shot wouldn't hurt much. 192HP + a 50 shot of nitrous in 3rd gear would be enough for me.

I wonder if the internals in the transfer case can be beefed up. I have my old t-case but I dont have time to take it apart right now...

Jason, and intake increases airflow into the engine, therefore increasing the input of fuel, and more air+fuel= a little more HP.(Not much though)

Last but not least, Nitrous Di-Oxide and Jaguars DONT Mix.
