Angry Damage in attempted theft

Look at what some low life did to my car. I found a two foot long metal paint mixing tool next to my car which I assume was used to cause this damage. Thankfully they didn't gain entry and the glass remained unbroken, though scratched. I think the alarm must have gone off and scared them off... I have to pay $850 AUD excess to get it fixed under insurance, assuming repair is economic. Going to get insurance damage assessment on Monday - hopefully they don't write the car off..... I am so annoyed - the car used to be so straight and looked really good - now it looks like a hooptie.

Dunno about the alarm, they sure whacked that door a bunch of times before giving up.

More likely, they decided that they just didn't have the right tool for the job.
