What exactly is the fault DCTS 1582 Flightbox ?

Going to look at an x type with a view to buying it but i've been told it goes into limp mode at 3000rpm and has a fault code DCTS 1582 Flightbox. Never heard of it before so wondered if anyone else has come across it before.
Can it be removed without a trip to a Jaguar dealer or aare my pants about to be pulled down ?6

It cannot be removed with an OBD tool but the DTC itself is not an issue. Whatever tripped it is.

 

No other codes present but goes into limp mode at 3000rpm so not sure whats causing it.

Any ideas where to look or what the usual culprit is/ are ?

 

Prolly will need someone with IDS to diag this...but a WAG based on totally anecdotal personal experience I'd guess the throttle body.

 

Throttle body strip clean and reset then ? Could well be as car has been stood for some time.

 

Anybody near me with IDS ?
