Default dear god help me..........

I have searched and searched and can’t find an answer to this question: how do you adjust the headlights from side to side? My passenger head light is aimed too far left. I found the screw to adjust them up and down, I also found another screw which I thought would move them side to side but, nothing happens when I turn the screw! Is there something special I must do? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks for any help!

uh oh, that doesn't sound good...a screw that doesn't do anything? That adjustment mechanism may be broke. Pics please...

There are NO adjustment screws for side to side. Only up and down. The projectors are preset from the factory and cannot be changed.

It's the dumbest *** thing I have ever seen.

Make sure the bulb is inserted correctly and the spring clip is fully seated around both edges.

Make sure that you seated it correctly. If you noticed when you pulled the bulb out it has a round edge and than that flat spot. The lights should fit in there really easily. Did you get the mydepot hid kit like most of us? The install should have been in and out in less than 15 minutes per side......If you have any questions or need help give me a ring I'll help you out if I can.

x type lamps are pretty much the same regardless. If bulb not clipped in right, that is the aiming problem.
Just a footnote:
Before ever adjusting your lamps using hex screws, use whiteout or something to mark the starting point so you can put it back where it was. Most times lamps are not misadjusted until someone starts screwing with them.

So fjt the only adjustments are for the aim are the wheels on the outside of the light right? There isn't adjustment on the inside of the lamp, for instance after you remove the back cover? I'm wondering if the lights shipped were h1's but I don't understand the install was straightforward, something has to be different! LOL!

I believe the inner one is vertical aim and outer is horizontal but without putting my paws on it, may be other way around.
Also, we were taught that federal law mandates adjustments for vertical aim only. No horizontal aiming allowed. That may be for hid only though.
