defroster
A little more information would be helpful - Is the fan blowing, but not warm? What year is your X Type, etc.
The group here is very helpful, but an entry like yours makes it impossible for anyone to provide any meaningful assistance.

I am guessing you are looking for help to fix it, but like Panama said, the few words you typed don't help much.
Is it the rear defroster? If so, does the light on the dash even come on when you press the button? Have you checekd the rear connector on the back window? Is it the air won't blow out the front vents to defrost your windshiled? The more details you can give about the car, the issue and the situation it started happening the easier it will be for someone to help you. Just writing "defroster no work" isn't much to go on.

If front, most likely culprit is blend door (actuator doors) =

Oh for goodness sakes, no sense of humor? Everything works fine except no air out of front defroster; has to be a door but I'd love to know what door before I go looking around under there; Blend door seems like a good guess, but I'm guessing that if this is true shouldnt a number of other options (like foot/room air mix) not work as well? In other words, isnt there a procedure that would narrow down the options based on a hypothetical scenario where we try room/foot and only get foot? COme to think of it Foot isnt great eitehr and I have four of these cars so it's not hard to tell what they should be blowing like. (I had six at one time so don't laugh...and yes they all ran fine!

Actuator #3 controls the defrost door position.
Hope this helps a little..
