I have a problem with the demister.
Demister button pushed but no air coming out of the vents.

I have been searching this forum and the Internet for a solution.

I found articles about the recirculation button and the air blend flap that goes with it.
This air blend flap should close off the air coming in through the pollen filter and thus cooling only air inside the car.

What is not clear to me is if there is a separate flap that opens when the demister button is pressed.
Or does the air blend flap have a double function and also works in demist position.

When repeatedly pressed on the demister button sometimes a flap will audibly move and air is flowing to the windscreen.

Enlighten me please.

You list a 1995 X300 Sovereign 4 litre and a 1969 E-type 2+2 in your forum profile but have posted this question in X-Type forum.
