I had 01 Mercedes C240, bushing were really bad. I used urethane for windshield installation to repair bushings. Problem was centering tube in the middle of cylinder, I used a few pieces of rope. everything worked fine until the car was sold couple years later. I do not recommend repairing bushings unless you are as cheap as i am...
