Default Door casing speaker grille

$10 for a set of four generic speaker grilles (with metal screens), required grinding the plastic portion down to to correct diameter of the opening on the casing however it fits perfectly snug. The only question is weather to paint them or not. I'm thinking it looks pretty slick as is.

IMHO, they look a bit out of place because of the color. Did the original grilles break or something?

Yes, the originals were broken when I bought it and are unavailable seperate from the whole casing. They are paintible and I am still debating on whether to color key them or not. I like the black cause it kind of gives a subtle nod to the XJ which has always had black grilles regardless of interior color going way back.

Speaker grille painted to match, metal grates which won't break like the cheap plastic OEM ones and they eliminate the hokey chromed plastic trim ring.
