Has anyone fixed the bad door handle issues without taking it to the dealer? If so, how difficult is the project?

My driver side door opens from the inside real hard .. feels like you may break something.

My passenger side door opens fine from the inside, but sometimes wont open at all from the outside.

OMG this just started happening to me. Passenger side door has always needed a bit of muscle to open from inside. sometimes friends think the door is still locked till i tell them to just pull harder.

But just recently, I can't open the passenger side door from the outside either. My gf was trying to get in the other day and said the door wouldn't open. So I get out and checked and sure enough door wouldn't open. Had to open it from inside. Happened several times after that.

 

This happened to my front door. I always think that I am going to brake it. the cable in side the door gets stretched out should be replaced but it is very expensive. I would recommend on leaving it unless you want to wast like $200 for a new one
