door handle removal
Hello, I need help in removing a door handle. The door handle (exterior) on the passenger side front snapped off. I've removed the inside panel and located 1 screw that I am assuming is attaches the door handle to the door. The second one is located???
Do I need to removed the window track to gain access?
Are front and rear passenger handles interchangable?
Any help is appreciated.

Jeeves, front and rear door handles are not interchangeable for the basic fact that the front ones have a key hole in them and the back ones do not. They may bolt up, but if you ever have to get into the car because of a dead battery, you may be sunk.
As for where the other bolt may be, I can not help you there. I have never had the need to pull the door handles off of my car. Granted, I may since I am contemplating mounting a small LED under the handle to light up the handle for at night with say a green LED (something to go with the color of my car).

Curious though, my Jag has only one key hole on the driveside. There isn't a keyhole on the passenger side. Is this common?
Maybe a previous owner switched it out with a passenger rear one for some reason.
