My driver's side door(LHD) will not lock with either the key or remote.All other doors are ok. I've checked the linkage rods & cable. They appear to be working. The motor clicks when activated by the remote.
Is the Latch motor a repairable unit or do I need to replace it?

I have had this problem many times before. Sadly, you are going to have to replace the door actuator with another one. Luckily, the repair is super straight forward if you have the correct security bits to remove the actuator from the door. Right now, you may be able to get away with putting some lube on all of the joints, but what I have found with these actuators is that once they start acting up like this, it is much less of a headache to just replace it with a working unit.

I had a problem with my passenger rear door RHD I took the lock mech out and undone the screws holding the little motor in place all I needed to do was give the brass contacts a clean after being in there for 11 years they were a bit dirty, I did replace the lock a couple years later but stood me in good as I didn't have money spare to replace it at the time.
