Default Drivetrain Warning Light

Now that the cold weather is here, when I drive offin the morning the red drivetrain (tranny) fault light goes on. Once the car warms up, I pull over to the side of the road, turn the car off for 10 seconds or so, and then restart. The light is now off. Is this happening to any of you? Also, when its cold, I can be in Drive and rev the engine and the car just sits there as if in Neutral. What gives???

Default RE: Drivetrain Warning Light

This seems to be a common problem with most cars that when the trans fluid is low the car will have trouble going into gear. Check the fluid right away!
