Wow...........love the X type Convertible 04, looks great.
Don't like the S type estate, then again, I'm not a huge fan of the S type to start with. For gods sake, please dont tell Biggie, will you?
He'll only have a go [:@]......lol

I haven't seen either of them before. Nice find.

Beautiful lookin example huh Dave.
I know the wife would love that too. She's lookin at Audi A4 convertibles and Saab 93 convertibles at the moment. I'm sure if the X came as a convertible she'd go for it.
The only thing though ( I know its sacrilage - but ) the Audi n the Saab both come with diesel engines that give good performance, excellent fuel economy with the convertible look...........unbeatable combination!
I don't see Jag ( if they ever produced an X convertible) offering that option, do you?

Well, it was just a thought, but no I didn't do the job. I found it on google or something! Had to do some work to get the pic out, because it was locked, and couldn't copy or get the url tag.

Yeah...I guess the only reason it's not 100% is because you never know what some rich bitch might have done!

The guy that was working on the X type convertible had the right idea.....unfortunately.....he gave up way too soon. He hacked off the roof.....only to find out that nobody would help in the fabrication of the top. Cost outweigh his pocketbook and he eventually sold the chopped X on ebay for very little money. He took a huge loss if i'm not mistaken.

Anyway, when he started that project he had a design studio "draw" and edit that photo to simulate what it would look like....

And as you can tell by the photo extensive body fabrication will be required to make it work. Even the doors were sculpted...

Anyway, for the price of getting that top done..you can buy 2 new x types....lol
