I have a 2002 x-type 3.0. While driving I get all 3 of these faults, engine system, gearbox, disc fault, plus cruise not available. Car will not run over 20mph, let it sit for about 15 minutes and it's fine for about 5 miles, then it starts over. Throttle body gaskets replaced, intake manifold gasket replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, spark plugs replaced, mas sensor replaced, battery tested 100%, pcv valve and hose replaced. Throttle body looks like it's been taken off before, not in perfect condition, anyone have ideas on this?

 

loyd, check the plugs on the throttlebody (specifically the one nearest the overflow tank). If you get corrosion or a bad connection inside that connector, it can lead to what you are seeing. You should also have the check engine light with all the issues that you are seeing. Please get the codes read (any local auto parts store should have a reader you can borrow for free) and post them here. That may help us figure out where your problem lies.

 

Found part of the problem, wire came off throttle body. Fixed and all lights out except cruise not available. Still have that problem, stalling out over 40mph, no acceleration, if you left off gas and slowly accelerate it runs fine.
