E brake button broken

Default E brake button broken
The other day my e-brake button broke. Now I can't set the e-brake. I'm prking it in gear and that seems to help.The question I have is can I just replace the button or do I need a whole new assembly? Sorry forgot to mention I have a 2002 x-type sport 3.0.
